Being in a destination wedding city like Savannah, Georgia, a LOT of my clients aren’t even from the same state they get married in! In fact, more often than not, my clients are from all over the country but chose Savannah, because of how stunningly beautiful it is. I’m biased, but you really can’t get a better backdrop for your wedding photos. Jason and Jess were no exception, as these two love birds came all the way from Texas to tie the knot in our very own infamous LaFayette Square!

Jason and Jess are some of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Our initial meeting was over FaceTime, but once they came to Savannah to secure their venues and vendors, we grabbed drinks at The Mansion on Forsyth Park and talked about the aesthetic and vibe of their wedding day. Jess chose one of the prettiest buildings in Savannah to get ready in, The Wedding Cake Mansion. The guys got ready at the McMillan Mansion a few blocks away. They had a build your own flower bar, champagne bottles with their names on them, and even customized napkins to get festive for their big day. Theirs was a smaller wedding guest wise, but that didn’t take away from the beauty of their intimate day.

Jess chose a beautiful simple gown for her dress, and the subtle shiny flowers on it added such a stunning detail. Jess arrived in style at their ceremony in one of Callan’s Classics many vintage cars, and after some bridal party portraits at Forsyth Park we headed to 10 Downing (the rooftop of Churchill’s Restaurant) to throw quite the party! (funny story, they accidentally left one of the groomsmen at Forsyth Park and had to swing back to grab him LOL).

Overall – this one was one for the books. From the stained glass windows in the getting ready space, to the Spanish Moss covered Oak trees in LaFayette Square, every detail of their day absolutely beautiful. You can find the full list of vendors and venues at the bottom of this page.
