I always say it’s not just photography, it’s collecting moments; It is an absolute privilege to collect the moments that people consider the most important, allowing them to relive them for the rest of their lives, and to share them with generations in the future. It’s so important to me that friends, families, and couples can look at the photos I take, and feel the raw emotions felt on that day, remembering all of the love and joy between people. Photos are stories, they’re memories, and they mean the world. I believe in the power of a photograph. There is something amazing about capturing a split second in time and being able to save that forever. It's a career I wouldn't give up for the world.

Wedding day!You have the best day ever celebrating with everybody you love. From grandma tearing up at the ceremony, to uncle Bob getting down on the dance floor, we capture it all.
You'll receive a smaller gallery of sneak peeks within 24 hours of your wedding! You can expect your full, high resolution gallery in 4-6 weeks.
From connecting with your wedding planner to helping you choose the best ceremony start time, we will construct your perfect wedding day together. You'll receive my tip guide full of everything you need to know, bring, and do for your wedding day as well!
how do I book?
After you reach out to me with your wedding date and venue, and we have our initial consult call, I'll send you a booking proposal with an invoice, contract, and retainer payment form. I accept credit and debit cards online. 25% of your total is due at the time of booking to reserve your date, Retainers are non-refundable. Payment plans are available!

Short Answer: No.
Long Answer: You may see some shots floating around the internet from my portfolio that were indeed shot on plantations. When I first moved to the South, I wasn’t really educated on the history of the plantations here. I knew they were most likely at one point owned by slave owners, but I never really thought about it that hard. It can be easy, I learned, because so many of them try to erase their dark history and pretend their beautiful locations were designed for weddings instead. Everyone makes mistakes and I’m no exception; while I have shot on them in the past, I will no longer take any job that photographs on land where such tragic events happened to so many innocent people. Recently I’ve read some material that I’ll link here, here, and here that was really eye opening to me and how in the wrong I was. In addition, I ended up writing an entire blog that goes into great detail on plantation weddings. If you’re planning a plantation wedding I hope you’ll take the time to read about why so many people are starting to take a stance on ending them. There are so many beautiful other locations in the South that weren’t sites of death and unfairness, and I’m so happy to recommend you in the right direction!
