My first time visiting San Francisco - I was SO excited to see the Golden Gate Bridge. We trekked up the cliffside to Battery Spencer Overlook to get the money shots, but when we got there, we couldn’t see the bridge! So we tried again a few days later, and… nothing. Definitely disappointing, but it’s not the first time weather made its own decisions about a wedding or engagement shoot, so we just had to improvise! And of course, on a clearer day I’d absolutely recommend Battery Spencer Overlook for some iconic San Fran engagement photos. Olivia and Aaron were such great sports when we realized the fog situation, so we headed down to Baker Beach to snap some super dreamy photos. The fog actually made for a really magical background. When we tried a few days later we went with Marshall's Beach, which allowed us to get a least a tiny bit of those iconic bridge photos. I'm in love with their foggy, dreamy session on the shores of San Francisco.
