tell me about your backup and storage process.

Not only do I photograph every wedding with two camera bodies, but each of those cameras also have two SD card slots inside! So you can rest assured that your memories are safe, because your photos are being taken in two places at once. After I'm home and in my pajamas, I'll get my external hard drives and back up your RAW files in two separate places, and to online cloud storage. I don't store your RAW files forever, though, so if you have a question about your gallery it's recommended to reach out within 3-6 months. (Your edited JPG photos are stored online forever in your gallery, so no rush there).

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

For weddings, turnaround time is usually from 6-8 weeks. 
For all other sessions, you can expect your gallery in 2-4 weeks.

how would you describe your photography style?

My editing style is film-inspired (when I'm not shooting actual film of course). Think Portra 400 film meets digital camera. I love vibrant greens and a little bit of brightness, while still maintaining those beautiful shadows and colorful skies. Keeping skin tones true-to-life and whites clean and crisp is important to me. If I had to choose three words to sum it all up, I'd pick bright, vibrant, and timeless. 

My posing style is meant to feel fluid and never awkward. My goal is always to bring out authentic laughter and create photos that feel candid even though I'm being a director from behind the lens. I want your photos to feel like we were having a blast - because we were! Movement, authenticity, and fun are what I strive for at every wedding and session.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

For weddings, we're all in rain or shine baby. 
For all other sessions - I understand that the weather is nobody's fault, so my rain policy is pretty flexible! We can either move your session to another date if you're available, or we can call it off and I'll refund you. This is pretty much the one instance where a non-refundable retainer becomes refundable, because I know neither of us has a magic wand to change the sky. (There's also a secret third option - which is just shooting in the rain and getting soaked together.)

How far are you willing to travel for photos?

If I could meet you on the moon, I would.

Do you retouch flaws and blemishes?

All collections include complimentary skin softening, blemish removal, and teeth whitening. I also photoshop most unwanted people, cars, and distractions objects as a part of my regular editing workflow. I don't photoshop off weight and cannot "make you thinner"" - I promise you that you are beautiful the way you are!

ARe you licensed and insured?

Yep! Sure am! No worries there. Happy to send over any of my very official documents for you.

how do you deliver the photos? do i get to pick which ones I want?

All photos, weddings and other sessions, are delivered digitally in an online, password protected gallery. From there, you'll be able to download high resolution images directly to your phone or computer. You'll also be able to share this gallery with whoever you'd like! I have unlimited online storage set up for my photo galleries, so there's never a timeline that you need to download your photos by. 

On average, wedding galleries have between 800-1,300 photos in them. Other galleries hover between 30-80, depending on which collection you choose. While you don't get to choose which photos you'd like personally, I make a promise to never delete a good photo. This means that you're guaranteed to get every great photo from our time together included in your gallery. I also do not charge individually for photos/downloads - you'll be able to have every single photo in your gallery for the one flat session price, no hidden fees later! 

What about prints?

You're able to order professional quality prints directly from your gallery! I work with a professional print lab that fulfills your orders by hand and mails them directly to your home. You'll also receive a print-release in your contract. You're welcome to print your photos anywhere you'd like - just know we're not responsible for any mis-prints or colors looking funky if you choose to go elsewhere! I can only guarantee a quality product through my personal lab. Albums are available as well.

How do I book you?

Start off by filling out this form on my contact page. If you don't hear back within 48 hours, make sure to check your spam folder! After I reach out and we chat a bit, you'll get your booking proposal where you can review your invoice, sign your contract, and pay your non-refundable retainer fee all in one place. 20% is due at the time of booking to reserve your date, and I accept credit/debit and bank transfers.
